ONE OF THE FIRST LETTING AGENTS IN CARDIFF TO COMPLETE RENT SMART WALES TRAINING.

The Keylet team showed total dedication on the weekend, as they all came in on a Sunday to attend the Rent Smart Wales Training Day. Keylet were complimented on being a proactive letting agency in the Cardiff area and are proud to support the scheme, as being one of the first letting agents to undergo full staff training. Thanks goes to our Rent Smart Wales instructor Jeremy Clarke, whose experience in the sector showed, providing a well-rounded and educational day. It was promising to see that we already adhere to the codes of practice, the staff got involved with the day and it was a great opportunity for some of our newer members of the team to get a more in depth feel for the letting agent industry. Therefore, we would like to thank all the staff at Keylet for attending this day and wish them the best of luck for the results which are due back in 10 days.

For those who don’t know, Rent Smart Wales scheme, is new legislation that came in to play 23rd November 2015, whereby all landlords and lettings agents in Wales have to obtain a license in order to continue trading. The scheme allows 12 months, to undergo registration, training and obtaining of the license, in order to avoid penalties that will start taking effect from 23rd November 2016. As we are one of Cardiff’s largest letting agents, we have begun the Rent Smart Wales process to ensure all of our landlords are registered in time and to assure our clients that we qualify to manage their properties under the Rent Smart Wales scheme. We hope that by taking these steps we have proved that we are leaders in Cardiff’s letting agency industry.

For those landlords, with Keylet who have not yet registered their properties, we would encourage those to register via the Rent Smart Wales website.
