KEYLET SUPPORT ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY
Our maintenance contractor Aaron, who completed the charity beard shave earlier this year in support of Ty Hafan, is taking part in another sponsored event, this time for The Alzheimer’s society! Aaron will be completing an 8km Memory Walk on 25th September to support those suffering with the condition and to help raise money and awareness for the charity. Memory Walk 2016 is the biggest charity walk yet with over 100,000 people taking part nationwide.
What the Alzheimer’s society does?
Dementia can happen to anyone and there’s currently no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and the number is set to rise to 1 million by 2021. The Alzheimer’s Society, believe that life doesn’t end when dementia begins and offer support for anyone affected by dementia, and aim to do everything possible to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
We are proud to get behind Aaron and help raise awareness for this cause. To sponsor please enquire via the Mundy Place office or donate via their group Just Giving page below:
We will let you know how he gets on!
