Director Emma Vidler does her part for free taxi scheme
It was our last week of the free Keylet Taxi’s yesterday in the student area of Cathays, and it came as no surprise that we were busy as ever. Last night alone we saved students around £130, and we are pleased to announce that total savings for the students has reached over £800 in taxi fares since we began the scheme. It’s great to see the students take advantage of this offer, with many students finding our ‘no-catch’ free lift hard to believe! Even the Director, Emma Vidler, was on hand yesterday taking the students to their destinations, whilst also showing their support to the Keylet team.
We have received nationwide praise for this campaign, from Barry to Belfast, but at the end of it all, it comes down to the students of Cathays. Our aim was to raise awareness of the safety of students and for Keylet to be part of the community, we want students to know that our services don’t stop once they leave our offices after securing a property, and that we do whatever we can to help. This service could not have gone ahead without the support of the Keylet Team, as well as the Operations Director, Lee Millard who has taken part in every single taxi service! As the staff have dedicated their own free time to this scheme, we would just like to say a huge Thank You for everyone that got involved.
